Float Frame Features:
Final Dimensions - Final Dimensions of every frame are based on the the specific artwork, ensuring a great fit every time.
Baltic Birch Cleat Strainers - The strainer element doubles as a french cleat for easy hanging.
Corner Splines for Strength - We always add corner splines of matching wood species to strengthen the miter joint.
Plywood Gussets - 3mm Baltic birch plywood gussets on the back of the frame add a final reinforcement to the design.
Handsome Clear Coat - A satin polyurethane comes standard on all Floats, offering protection and a beautiful finish for this elegant object.
Most commonly Float Frames are maple, walnut, or poplar. Poplar is generally used if the frame will be painted. Other wood species can be sourced if you’re looking for something beyond our standard offerings.
