• All custom projects involve some degree of risk, whether that be the risk of exceeding timelines or falling short of design goals.

• Projects without sufficient lead-time may not be advisable.

• Outcomes, estimates and timelines are not guaranteed, they are projected to the best of our ability.

• If something doesn’t meet the stated goals of a design brief, we are still compensated for our labor and materials.

• Unless agreed upon otherwise, either party can end the fabrication partnership at any time, however CAS will be compensated for all billable work that precedes that conclusion.

• Meetings and phone calls regarding a project or design specifics are considered billable hours.

• Internal meetings, design research, CAD models, and/or drawings will be logged and billed. Documents, and files that are generated for a project will be provided to the studio partner.

• For projects with significant unknowns invoices will be generated every two weeks that cover labor and material costs for the preceding time period.

• For projects with significant duration, CAS will furnish written reports every two weeks updates the client on progress.

• CAS reserves the right to apply any newly learned technique or skills to any future CAS production.

• Capacity for custom fabrication partnerships is limited, and may not always be available. Please schedule all projects as far ahead of time as possible.
